Micronesians leave the security of our own homelands in search of better economic, educational, and healthcare opportunities for ourselves and our children. Living in Hawai’i has not been easy for our community, but it is a privilege that we must honor by being productive members of the local community. MU-BI aspires to build partnerships with schools, social service providers, faith leaders, and others of goodwill to enable greater self-reliance based on Micronesian skills and cultural strengths.
